Well, how about doing it in the most healthful manner possible, aka optimal aging?

There is no Fountain of Youth. So we might as well work on Aging Optimally.

But do we know what that entails?

In order to alleviate chronic conditions - the results of lifelong poor dietary patterns and lack of exercise - Big Pharma and their minions (in charge of prescriptions and procedures) have an answer for you.

They tell you to put this pill and that potion in your body - chemicals with unknown and sometimes deadly side effects.

What's the use of changing your diet and physical activity now?

Of course, surgery is always the best solution. Open heart $urgery or gastric bypa$$, anyone?

What they don't tell you is this: These things don't cure anything! They only mask the symptoms – while making those guys richer and you sicker.

That's not aging optimally!

I learned that lesson.

Take it from me. I used to eat all the "edible food-like substances" that are so heavily promoted by Big Ag, Big Meat and Big Dairy (it's where you get your protein from, right?).

Then I'd swallow whatever would hopefully alleviate the health problems – make them go away. Well, they didn't.

It was anything but aging in a healthy and optimal fashion.

A cold or flu came around – I got it. I developed arthritis in my fingers. I developed prostate problems. My vision deteriorated. The cholesterol levels were nowhere near optimal.

Premature Aging  vs. Optimal Aging

I just didn't know any better.

But there was - and is - a better way...

It's been there all along.

I learned that it really simply boils down to two things:

  1. plant-based diet
  2. regular physical exercise

Another lesson was that many doctors know less about healthful nutrition and exercise than the average person in the street.

Optimal aging. I love these words.

It's what this site is all about.

Now I want to shout the good news from the roof tops to all my peers -- the seniors out there:

I have never felt better in my whole life!!

Enjoying a truly healthful plant-based diet, along with regular exercise is making all the difference in my life.

And I'm brazen enough to assume that you want to experience that same feeling.

We're getting older. My message has urgency to it.

I share with you on these pages how I've fared on the road called "Optimal Aging."

You can easily adopt the same habits and preferences.

Try it! What have you got to lose? Weight? Low energy? Aches and pains?

Now relax.

Maybe you want to do as I do.

I don't just talk about a plant-based diet. I am vegan. Try it.

You will probably fall in love with it, as your health will make a complete turn-around. Starting within days!

I don't just talk about fermented foods, detox foods or power foods. I eat them. Try it.

I don’t just talk about how vital exercise is for your optimal aging. I exercise  - it's a part of my daily life - and enjoy it and all the wonderful benefits that come with this lifestyle.
