Sex And Longevity
 Deeply Connected

Would you like to live longer - with good health and sound mind - to enjoy more of the positive things life has to offer you? Can you think of one?

Lo and behold, there is one. Two, actually…

Sex and longevity.

Learning that sex and longevity are closely connected may surprise you. But they are…

Turns out that when you have sex - yes, that includes loving, sensual touching - a large number of hormones are released in your body

  • stimulating intimacy and bonding
  • relieving stress
  • strengthening your relationship
  • benefiting you mentally and socially
  • working against depression
  • increasing self-esteem

But wait, there is more…

There are real physiological health benefits in regular sex, such as

  • reduced risk of heart disease
  • increased cardiovascular and circulatory health
  • weight loss
  • reduction in colds and flu
  • increased bladder control

And to top it all off, with increased frequency of sexual activity your life expectancy grows.

More specifically, frequent orgasms can increase longevity by a whopping three to eight years.

Put another way, a high frequency of orgasms - particularly for men - has been shown in studies to reduce the risk of dying prematurely by fifty percent.

Okay, all this sounds just wonderful for folks who are physically in decent shape.

Some seniors may need a little help. Erectile dysfunction and age-related vaginal dryness come to mind.

It is beyond the scope of this site to give advice regarding conditions like these. Please consult your physician about these and related issues.

Now, there is another very important subject that luckily can be dealt with right here…

Since sex and longevity are definitely of great interest to older adults, two natural ways to enable yourself to enjoy both sex and a longer life are

  1. Healthy and nutrient-rich diet
  2. Regular exercise

You’ll find lots of sound information regarding both on the pages of this website.

SeniorHealthSuccess is all about achieving optimal senior health.

And sex and longevity are a wonderful part of living a fulfilling life as senior.

Did you know…

Regular physical activity can lower your risk of experiencing sexual dysfunction.

Oh, exercise also helps maintain and increase your libido, aka sexual desire.

So, ladies and gentlemen, starting an exercise program would be an excellent idea. It certainly beats popping prescription pills.

And it’s free. Exercise for Seniors may be the best drug there is...

For some, lifelong poor diet and exercise habits can seem difficult to overcome.

Health Coaching has been shown to be a highly valuable and effective tool in guiding and supporting seniors to change health behavior.

You deserve a life lived to the fullest.
